Ryan Steiner is a software developer with extensive experience in the video game industry, health care software/hardware development, and the financial industry developing customer-facing software for millions of users world wide.

In 2023, Ryan and his wife founded Prime8 Entertainment – a video game company developing Ghost Hunter Simulator for PC. He has been leading system development and handling executive responsibilities to grow the team from the original 2 to a total of 10 contributors.

Ryan’s software engineering experience has a strong focus on Android app development. Ryan has been professionally making software in various forms since 2007, but his software development history really started back in 1994, making basic HTML websites in notepad. Ever since then, Ryan has been actively crafting solutions that support the vision of the product and provide amazing experiences for users around the world.

Ryan has extensive experience with Unreal Engine, Android Studio, Kotlin, Java, Gradle, and various CI pipelines for mobile software development. Ryan has served as a cybersecurity expert, guiding large organizations toward safe practices for the company and for the end users. Ryan has both worked in Quality Assurance as an analyst and has built testing pipelines and automation frameworks, so no matter what role he’s currently filling, he always has a mind for developing reliable software. Ryan also has 12 years of experience working in the video games industry which lends a unique out-of-the-box perspective that can lead to creative solutions to challenging problems.

Ryan’s development super power is that he is very skilled at turning impossible requests into real software that can be delivered into users’ hands. Vague requirements? Conflicting vision and design?
